We need a clean up on isle three! Seriously, with all of the “Easter Eggs” that Dodge has been releasing over the last couple weeks in regards to the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon. I need every mop and bucket that I can get my hands on. This car is drool worthy!
So far we know is that the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon has dropped more than 200lbs of weight compared to it’s current favored sibling Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT. The Demon will also have wider tires and fenders, and unlike the Hellcat which is an All Wheel Drive. The Dodge Demon will stand out being a Rear Wheel Drive monster. Another tid-bit that we know so far is that the Dodge Demon will have “Air Grabber” cold air intake. The hood is the largest ever installed on a production vehicle, measuring more than 45 square-inches. The model also features a large air box sealed to the hood scoop and two functional “Air Catcher” headlamps. The updates help increase airflow and drop the inlet air temperature by more than 30 degrees compared with the 707-hp Hellcat.
The new Dodge Demon is going to blow the doors right off the Hellcat, making the Hellcat look like your average house cat. How much horsepower will the Dodge Demon have? One “Easter Egg” that is still unanswered, and is driving me absolutely crazy is the license plate “#2576@35.” We know it means something, but what exactly is it? Your guess is as good as mine at this point. All I know I is we’re excited, and you should be too!
The waiting game still stands as we have to wait for the “Easter Eggs” to be released as the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon will make its global debut at the New York international Auto Show in April 2017. It is said to be capable of outperforming the most powerful and fastest muscle cars in the world. If that the next rumor I can’t even sit still anymore!

Welcome! What we have here is a 2010 Dodge LC22R Challenger Drag Pak car. This concept was first unveiled to the public back in October 2006 at SEMA by a company called Daimler Chrysler. After stringent testing, production setbacks, Chrysler almost going bankrupt and numerous changes; finally 100 of these turnkey drag cars were made and coming hot off the production line. This 2010 Dodge LC22R Challenger Drag Pak Production No. 2010042 is one of only five to cross over the border into Canada.
This retro themed Stone White Challenger is broken back down to the bones, and brought back to the raw power that the Challenger is well known for. So much power in fact that these limited time production Challengers do not come with a street legal title. When it comes to power, the LC22R Challenger comes stocked with uncompromised sheer force. The 6.1L V8 Engine rumbles low like a growl, which comes packed with one nasty punch. The LC22R Challenger was based on the SRT8 version. Yet unlike the SRT8 the LC22R Drag Pak caters to the realistic drive and needs of a Drag Car enthusiast. So much so from including a composite lift off hood with a functional scoop, Viper-style front seating, polycarbonate door windows, a light-weight cooling module with electric fan, manual rack-and-pinion steering, a special cable-operated deck-lid release, special light-weight front-brake assemblies and special cable-operated throttle linkage and pedal assembly.
The LC22R Challenger is a top contender in the small world of turnkey drag cars. With drag racing’s growing popularity mainly in the U.S. The big three domestic automakers brought out their factory-built turnkey ready drag race cars. Those of which include the COPO Camaro, Mopar Dodge LC22R Challenger Drag Pak, and Ford Cobra Jet Mustang. The LC22R Challenger is comparable to its rivals, yet it is undeniably different all on its own. My opinion on the LC22R Challenger may be a bit biased but when you get to experience the raw ride inside and out instead of watching 100’s of YouTube videos, you may feel the exact same way.
